3/4 ton axles

i need more gear under my 6.2 diesel and i've seen a few 3/4 axles for sale with 4.10s and i was wondering if its worth the time and money to put them under or should i just save up and go with 1 tons? this will more than likely be a dd too.

What gears do your current axles have? I would think the 4.10's would be good. If the 3/4 ton sets you are looking at are D44/14FF, then you could run em and if you have problems with the front later, then sell it and upgrade to a D60.

3.73s it just doesn't have enough power and i know thats due to the lack of muscle under the hood, plus im doing a manual swap so it will add a little more gear then the 700r4 had.

how bad are the 14b sf?

id say 4.10s atleast. ive got 410s with a 4cyl and 35s, and yes i will go, but it wont go very fast at all

everyone tells me 4.10s for 35s, and 4.56s for anthing over but either way the extra gearing will help with the lack of hp the 6.2 has
