planning a road trip to Gettysburg Pennsy during the first weekend of august. A friend and I are going up and want to try and haul my M38 and his stocker EB on one trailer. A group of us are getting together to do a 3 day driving/stopping tour of the battlefield with my reenacting Lt.Col. who does tours.Being a reenactor,I go to these areas but very seldom do i get to do a tour. It's always go go go with very little down time for such stuff.
The schedule is to leave Greenville,N.C. early on July 31st and come home on the 3rd of august. We would want to pick it up the weekend before and return it the weekend after so in total,we would have it for 2 weeks.
The truck we are using is a pre-powerstroke 7.3 F250 that is set up for either bumper pull or 5th wheel.Dude that owns the truck wrote the book on OCD so we won't be pulling it with a junk set up and it will come home in "as good if not better" shape than when it leaves. Be around a thousand mile round trip so we are working it now to have as little headache as possible.
We are hoping to find one in the eastern 2/3rds of the state.
Can anybody help us out in our endevours?
