Just got a new toy, a 79 F-250 put 37in h1 wheels and tires on it and welded the rear up. Its not a hardcore trail rig but will see some abuse how long will this rear stay together?

coming from a guy that beat on a fullsize bronco with a very built bigblock, and big tires on a dana44 from back in the day, im sure you will be fine!

up grade the axle's and carrier to 35 spline and u shouldn't break with 37's even at extreme wheeling.

it will probably be fine
then IF/when it breaks, you can upgrade to 35 spline
then IF/when it breaks, you can upgrade to 35 spline

37's on 30 spline should be ok. If you break a shaft they are very easy to change or you can still drive it home since it's full float.

depends on your driving style. I've seen them pop with ease and some I've seen take a real beating. I think you'll be OK for a while but if you've got the coin I'd step it up to 35 spliners at some point.... or get a 14 bolt
