Gonna be getting an XJ here soon. Its got a 3" lift on it, currently running 31" MTR's. The tires are good, but the once on my TJ are a little bit better...

Thing is, the TJ BFG's are 32". Can I safely run these on a 3" lifted XJ? Ive never messed with XJ's before so Ive got no idea. The wheels mounted on the 32's are Procomp Rockcrawlers, backspacing is 3.75"

It should be good with that amount of BS'ing. There's a thread on here, 33's with no lift, check it out. I have 2" lift, 33's w/about 4" BS, lots of fender trimming, minimal rub. Mine is pretty well bumpstopped, you may want to double check how (if) the PO altered your bumpstops.

I wont be doing any fender trimming on this XJ, WAY to nice for that.

I also wont be doing any extreme wheeling with this, I wouldnt see myself getting it to full articulation any time soon.

The rear doesnt look like its got much, if any sagging.

EDIT*

Oh yeah, should mention...the front...fascia? where the stock fog lights go, has been cut off...dunno if that matters much.

It will rub on the front inside of each fender. When you turn to the right, it will rub on the inside of the left fender flare, and vice versa. It may also rub on the lower control arms. The left when you turn left, and the right when you turn right. But with that much backspacing, you may be fine. I have an RE 3.5" lift, 31x10.50s on 15x8.5 w/ around 3.75" BS. They rubbed a little on the fenders when new, and after about 3 Months it got much worse. I did a little trimming and it quit rubbing on the street. I still rubbed when I was off-road. I was also very close to my lower control arms.

Well if your not planning on wheeling it then you should be fine, when I got my XJ it had 33"s on it with a 3" lift and the only thing that the PO did was trim the bottom of the front fenders a little bit, It also still had the stock flares, and with that backspacing you shouldn't touch the LCAs. Hell if it does rub a little there's always bumstops.

32's with ~ 3 inches

It'll be close. you'll get some rubbing on sped humps & dips. As you'll see in the picture, the bottom rear of each flare is pretty cozy with the tire.
This is with stock backspacing and ~ 2.75 inches of lift. 32*11.5*15 tires are at about 60% ( sorry for the loousy pic quality)

A little trimming goes a long way though! If done carefully and properly the jeep will still be nice when you're done.
