34x10.5.15 tsl or ltbs ?

yup, LTb's. great tire.

They are LTBs, the way you can tell is the center V lugs:

On the top is the TSL that has a flat cut off design. The LTBs on the bottom have an interlocking design.

(Besides the fact that 34x10.5 is an LTB tire size, not a TSL)

In the 34" size the LTB is a 10.50, the tsl is a 9.50.

yep mine are ltbs thanks guys, how long do these last on the road

They are a soft compund tire and wear pretty quickly under anything with some wieght. Mine only stayed under my dodge for about 9 months, but that was with worn TRE's making them cup out quickly. Alignment, rotation and air pressure will make the biggest difference, but I wouldn't bet on more than 20-25k miles

ok there on a jeep tj not much weight, ive seen bias tsl last for 20k miles on a jeep. ive got 25 psi in it now is that bout right

The key to long life is rotation and pressure checks. I run bias ply tires on the highway under my 1/2 ton full-width axled XJ and can get very good mileage and wear from them. Rotate after every 200 miles and keep no less than a 2 lb. psi difference in all four and they'll be around for a while.

psi... I've always run 30. It's a pain on a DD rig to keep that amount sometimes. If it's a 10 mile drive from a wheeling spot to a gas station or some source of air compressor then it's no sweat though.

what about psi how much should i run in them

I keep my Bias Ply 34x9.5 TSLs at 26/27psi. I am averaging about 1k miles to every 1/32nd of tread (which would equal about 25k for the life of the tire). Key is keeping an eye on the PSI every weekend or so, and the less time you spend on the highway (at 65mph +) the better.

So I shoulda been rotating my Durangos tires every day? I usually rotate bias mudders about every 2k miles, Radials of any sort every 4k miles.

haha this thread is perfect. i have been looking for tires for my new rig/DD and LTBs seem to be the most bang for the buck. they are actualy realy cheap for what they can do. i have been sold on interco since i had some sx's

how about ride quality. do they shake?

They flat spot overnight, and yes, they are swampers, they will shake. I had a set of my s-10, and if i hadn't sold the car, i think i would have been lucky to get 15k, 12k was more realistic. I was decent with the rotating and pressure checks too.

Keep in mind your vehicle weight to tire size ratio will also effect this. The lighter the vehicle and the bigger the tire the longer it will last. Also remember Bias Ply Swampers wear faster at highway speeds, so the less time you spend going 60mph+ the better.

x2 the rode like shit on mine. ill never drive on the road with them

Sounds like my experience with the 33x12.5 TSLs (in actuality 34x12.5). Even had the death wobble at around 35-40mph, but they are Bias Ply Swampers so I got used to it. I run the 34x9.5 TSLs now and its a world of difference. Little to no vibration, no death wobble, and they are quieter than the 33x12.5s (they are still loud for a tire, but nothing like the 12.5s). Its almost like running a radial tire, but they are still fairly loud and you still have flat spotting.
