Except that i can get the same HP/TQ as a standard SBC for the same money as a crate motor, and not have to deal with the engine swap mess. I'm putting a 4.6 in my ZJ. Bored .040, Crower cam, 99+ intake, and a few other little things, gonna run me ~ $2k when all said and done. My jeep ran good, but smoked and lacked power, 217k miles had worn the rings pretty good over the years.Just seemed more reasonable to go with SBC.
