4.0 swap in a 2.5 yj?

soo i just picked up a yj with a 2.5 and it runs ok but smokes a little so i was thinking about throwing a 4.0 swap in it. i have alot of experience with hondas so i know alot about engine swaps and what not, i know i'll need a 4.0 longblock and tranny, mounts, ecu......if there's anything else that i need let me know, and also if there's a good writeup on this can someone post it?

You'll need a 23 spline input NP231 also. Best thing would be motor, trans and tcase from a donor rig.

It'll swap in good. Get the August 2009 4-Wheel Drive and Sport Utility Magazine. That swap is one of their features in the mag. I just read about it yesterday!

i have a wiring harness from a yj that was used on a 4.0. guy went stroker and sold it all to me.
