4.0L Torque Specs

I'm trying to find torque specs for the 1/4-20 oil pan to engine block bolts.

So far I have two different answers.
7 ft/lbs

Two very different answers.

@JodyTreadway does the ol' german torque spec of goudenfoo-kintight work in this scenario? Who should I go with?

That is 120 inch lbs. Not ft lbs. They're basically the same measure. I just snug them up personally.

Tilley, as your resource of Jeep knowledge, tighten them with your 1/4 drive ratchet and extension in the palm of your hand nice and snug. 7 ft/lbs (or 85 in/lbs) sounds good to me.

If a vein pops out on the back of you hand, thats too tight.

It is worth mentioning though, due to the length of the mating surface you should use an expanding radius tightening pattern.

Yeah, Ive started in the corner and worked clockwise also, but it would be better not to.
