4.3 4l60e to 5.7

4l60e out of a 4.3 blazer is it as strong as a 4l60e outta a 5.7 silverado/

it's the same trans, only difference is the 3rd clutch apply piston(one less clutch in a 4.3) and the servo

yes it will work, what years are the transmissions. the electronics are different for some years so i would need to know the years to be 100% positive.

a 95 is most likely a pwm pump and a 94 isn't. 95 and later use an on-off style 3-2 control solenoid and valve train. it uses a 20 ohm solenoid and the early model uses a 10 ohm solenoid. it will cause instant codes and won't shift.

Well in the my case with a 1500 I got a known good trans from a 95 to put in my brothers 94 when it let go and when I put it in it only had 2-3 and reverse. There is a pressure switch inside that is different, changed that and had all gears but no pressure. The valve body is different, the 95 has a solenoid for the TCC. I pulled that pan so many times l I finally drilled and welded a nut to it for a drain plug. It was a headache. Just don't try it haha.
