4.3 in a 87 toyota pickup

I was woundering if anyone out there has put a 4.3 in a yota?which trainy works good,will the stock trainy and transfer hold up or do I need to change more?thanks for the help.

i've got a 4.3, th350 and duel toyota cases. works pretty good for me.

did you use the stock egx. manifolds or will they fit?I over heated my truck once becouse i found out my temp gauge sucked and it blew the head gascet I beleive.we cant find any leaks and there is no oil water mixing,so I just lost faith in the motor so I was looking at possible swapps and i am realy fomiliar with chevy motors so it looks like thats what Im gonna do unless anyone can tell me another possible problem.thanks for all the help.
