This probably should be in the newbie section, but I will try here. I am new to the 4 link fab scene and am getting ready to link the rear of my YJ, was planning on using 2" dom for the lowers and 1 1/2" for the upper links(seems like that is what I have seen). This is a budget build so not looking for the ultimate parts. I was looking at using creeper joints, but I guess they will not work in 1 1/2" tube. Leads to the questions,
Are the Creeper joints any good?
If not what do you recommend?
Should I use 2" material for the uppers as well?
If I stay with the 1 1/2" dom uppers, what joints to use?
Thanks

Ive had good luck with my currie joints but I know theres a lot of new options now that I dont know much about. 1.5 will be fine for the uppers. The reason the lowers are bigger is so they dont bend when you drag em across rocks. using 2" on the uppers may cause you some clearance issues depending on how your exhaust is run.

im using creeper joints & bungs, but cant say how they do, as Im not finished... I went with 1.75 0.120 wall uppers & 2.25" 0.375 wall lowers, but I have a 4seater on rockwells...

I have the Ballistic joints but will be adding some of the Currie joints. I haven't run either of them yet.

I'd think 1.5" is fine as the upper. Thats what I'm running with 2.25" x .375 lowers

I am running creeper joints on my frame side and ballistic joints on the axle side. I like the ballistic joint much better than the creeper joint (or any joint the uses a snap ring). The Ballistic Joints have threaded ring that locks it together.

Creepers are beef though.

I welded mine soild since i was threading the Creeper on the other side, But if I did it again I would use the Ballistics Joint Threaded on the other side, There pretty close in price.

Thanks for the replies and pics  For those running the 1 1/2" uppers what size joints you using?
