4-seater yota truggy

dude....lookin pretty cool but isnt it really just a buggy with a floor pan at this point....by definition a truggy should still look sorta like the original vehicle to some point...someday ill double my 205 with a 203 but havent been able to find a 203 i can afford yet...lol...but anyways...awesome looking ride so far...oh n 'scuse me didnt catch the firewall/floorpan section in the scrap pile the first look thru...so your going to have an awesome 4seat buggy period...lol
 
hope so really just making it into a 4 seater so i can take kids on more rides and as far as it being a buggy i dont know just yet still have leaf springs up front but im really getting excited about it now

Great looking build!

I have a question. Looking at the pics of where the seats are sitting and the location of the floor, wouldn't a person's knees be really high in the air when they are in the seats? I haven't seen it in person and if I did, it would probably answer my question. I'm sure the floor and seat relationship looks different in person.

The seat in the rear was for my daughter so i could take her wheeling more often and an adult could ride back there but not one that was too tall
 
Looks good guys! What gauge are you using for the floor? what kind of brake are you using to bend it. The bends look nice.

14 ga.
i had my steel suplier sheer and bend everything as my press will only do up to 36".
i just have to draw them what i need and pick it up a few days later and to answer what kind of brake im not sure on brand or die size but i know its around 300 ton. next time i pick up steel ill try to snap a pic.
 
Cool man. I was just wondering if you were doing it yourself in house. I thought it looked a little thicker than 16ga. It takes a decent brake to do that wide 14 ga. More than your typical small shop like me has. I'm a tool freak and when I see a shop like me do something like that I have to know how LOL! Might be a future purchase.

so i should have said 2x4 and a rubber mallet lol.
 
Chris got the axle all welded up and then I grabed a few quick pics and then painted it and for to take pics of it all painted but i think it look killer cant wait for it to be done.
