4 wheel light does not work 99 TJ

99 TJ 5 speed 6 cylinder. 4 wheel light does not work when shifted in to any 4 wheel poistion. I know I still want it to work What do I need to look for? It did work before.

Bulb burned out? Remove cluster and check.

Does it turn on when you first turn the key on, during the self check?

Do you actually GET 4wd? could be the t-case switch..

If the 99 is like my 04, I think its an LED sautered to the board. It's been over a year since the dash was apart so I can't remember and I know some of the indicators in there were small LED's or something but there weren't normal bulbs
