4340 chromoly axle kit

Each axle is warrantied to the original purchase. If for any reason in the first 60 days of purchase you break your axle, send it in and the next one is on us. Should something happen to the axle after 60 days of original purchase, buyer will pay a flat fee of $50 to have a brand new axle shipped to to them. Titanium Axle CV joints are warrantied for 12 months after date of purchase. Titanium Axle shafts are warrantied for the lifetime of the axle to the original purchaser. Before we can send a new axle we must have proof of purchase and proof of breakage.

Kind of seems like they are looking for ways to get out of the warranty. I wouldn't trust it.
 
I would be worried about ripping the cv boot while offroading

I agree. If they are really that strong and shouldnt break, then warranty isnt such a big deal; but if they were that sure of the strength, lifetime warranty on the CV should be a given.
 
They use a plastic/rubber boot. It would be interesting to see what's beneath the boot on those axles though. Might not be a terrible deal.
 
I'm looking hard at the RCV shafts, just because I'm wanting to eliminate weak points on my jeep.

Armoring, tucking, caging, addressing weaknesses so there is LESS I have to worry about when I'm offroad. I'm not saying the word bulletproof or bomb proof, but I'm wanting to be close.

Anyone here rune the rcvs? What would be the down side to these, besides the rubber boots. Once the boot is torn the cvjont would soon die? correct?
