quick question. will any LP Dana 44 carrier of the same ratio, in my case it's 4.10, work in a Scout D44? I'm about to head to the junkyard as soon as I can get a definate answer. thanks.

Yes, as long as it is a regular D44 and not a TJ D44 or an aluminum D44.
