What are people running as far as wheels for the 49" iroks? I have a set of 16.5 x 8.5 steel wheels but they look to small for the 21" wide tire. I was told to go with a H1 double beadlock but they are also 8.5" wide. I cant find anything wider than a 10" rim and that is what the ones I have now will be after the weld on beadlocks.

Mine are on 14" wide rims, 7" backspacing, hubs out, dead on 102" width for street legality.

Bottomland4x4 had some on 20" wide rims, the tread was totally flat, no crown, looked awesome to me.

i know somebody who has some hummer wheels that have been widened to 12 inches wide if you are interested let me know and i'll get a price for you. He also has the pvc inserts for them

i ran 39.5x18" boggers on a 10" wide wheel once and wouldn't do that again let alone EVER consider running them on a stock width h1 beadlock..... i can't imagnine running a 21" wide tire on a stock width h1 wheel..... def look at getting those widened if thats the route you go...

-Erik <--- runs the 18" wide boggers on 12" wide wheels

there is a guy in town where I live that widens wheels. He charged 80 a wheel for my 20's and 60 a wheel for my friends 15's. I added 3 inches and my friend added 8 inches to his. Let me now if you're interested and I will get you in touch with him. I saw Eric's (bottomland4x4) and they looked great on the wide wheels.

I ran them on 16.5 X 12" wheels, you shouldn't have any problem finding wheels that size. I think for a 17" and 20" wheel interco recommends at least 14" wide. I personally think the 12" wide ones aren't quite enough even for the 16.5" wheel.

Does he do aluminum wheels?

I just dropped off a set of old chevy whhels to get widened. He is going to add 10" to them for $42 a piece.

Well he just called and sayed it would be a month before he could get tpo them so I told him I would pic them up and to forget about it.

I will ask him rich. I have to talk to him this week and I'll let you know what he says. How much wider would you want them incase it would matter.

rich he said he would rather not do aluminum wheels. He shouldn't have any problem doing 10 inches

Is he in winston? If so what is the name of the shop? I am in Winston everyday for work I might swing by and see what he can do. How long is the turnaround?
