i sold my 44s, still trying to sell my 53s. i got the 3/4 ton d44 completely rebuilt on the truck, cross over hooked up, 49s mounted, it looks awesome. im picking my 14bff up tomorrow and hopefully ill be able to drive it tomorrow evening.

Ran 10 bolt with 44's for bout 3 months, been runnin 40's now for like 4 months, with consistent interstate driving all throughout, shouldn't be a problem

Now if you're tryin to wheel I suggest putting it 4wd on strait line mud holes only and def don't lock it.

I'm not trying to be an arse but that 44 is going to be in for a world of hurtin with 49's.

Anyway, as Ricky said don't put a locker in it and it putting it in 4wd might over do it.

I backed up with 37s and my 44 went ouch!

well the biggest problem you will run into is the balljoints will have a short life span with 49's if you leave it open it might not break right away. I have many trucks with 49's and bigger and they do strain things alot. thanks ALex
