4dr Wrangler feedback

I have just over 63,500miles on my 09 four door jk, three inch lift35"tires and a 5 speed w stock gears. It leaks, squeaks, and rattles like a jeep, but holds three kids in relative comfort.
I wouldn't trade it for any vehicle that is a dual purpose, it is a compromise on road, but it still gets me everywhere I need to be, usually only a little late.

And x2 on the jkowners.com. Loads of great info and much like nc4x4 it is a free and open exchange.

for all you JK haters. Bring your junk to my playground and lets see if they stopped making jeeps at all:flipoff2:

2010 JK sport. Auto,3.5" RK lift, 37" creepies. Front locker. Everything else is stock. D30 front D44 rear, 3.73 gears. Broke 3 axle shafts this day but rcv's fixed that and plus I am a little stupid.

When stock I averaged 17-19 mpg, getting between 12 and 14 right now. Does fine on the highway but i turn the OD off and it never gets past 3rd gear. Drive shafts will need replaced soon I imagine. If she ever wants to wheel what she drives, I would recomend it. If it will never go offroad, I would say get something else just because for a road vehicle you can do much better for the money. The 3.8 is not as bad as people say in my opinion. It just rev's higher. No low end torque. You got to drive it in it's power band. (this from a guy who thinks the ford 300 I6 is the best motor ever made). Parts are still a little high but have come down considerably since I had my 07( which is the first year jeep ever made a stock offroad vehicle that was made for the public:flipoff2:) If you think you may ever take it offroad I would also recomend the Rubicon. So much less to do to make it embarass any other street legal vehicle. Plus they do look good lifted but most stuff looks good lifted. She can drive mine too to see if she likes it.
