Looking for some 4 ft LED shop lights to brighten up my barns. Amazon's got a gazillion listed. I've got two fairly large buildings I want to outfit like an OR so I am probably wanting 15-20 fixtures when all is said and done. Looking for any actual product experience with what you might have, links to the product would be great. Thanks

How tall is your ceiling? My lights are gonna hang at about 16-18', and the high-bay UFO's have good numbers for the $$

I bought some 5000 lumen lights from Harbor Freight, only to find they were not made to plug into one another, took them back and bought 5500 lumen lights from Rural King. I put 16 of them, 8 on each side of my 24X30 building, and I can't complain at all about the lighting. Been going for 3 years working great!

Shop 1 is 40x75 floor with ceiling height about 15'. Shop 2 is 24x53 with 17' height at truss bottoms (stores a 5th wheel camper down the center). I don't know how many I'll need but I'm going to keep adding lights until I can see to my liking.

If you are going to be in that shop for significant lengths of time, you may want to have a way to cut off half of them. My previous workplace was a furniture factory that they converted to office space and as a part of the conversion, went to all LED lights instead of the fluorescent ones. Between the lights and staring at the computer screens, I'd leave work with a headache most days. Pulled half of the bulbs out and it was livable. Owner was pissed that so many employees were doing that because he spent a sh!t ton of money on the bulbs just to have them sitting on the floor.

I had 6 of these Barrina 8 footers in my old 22'x30'x12'h garage and it was lit up like an OR. They make 4 footers and sell them in different quantities and styles.

I have 15 of these in my 42x30 with 13’ walls. 3 rows of 3 overhead and a row of 3 down each long wall about 3’ down from the top. It lights it up great. I have heard of people having issues with these burning out, but they’re cheap and I have 5 spares. I bought two 10 packs for like $400 shipped.

This is what I put in my shop last year. Love them. I didn't pay 25 each for them though. I think the wife found them on sale. I replaced 8 8ft lights with 16 of these. I believe I could have got away with replacing an 8ft with 1 4ft though.

Nah, I don't spend that much time out there for this to be a concern. Truth told, most of my time out there is a few hours now and then spent fixing @tlucier junk heaps.

I also have the Honeywell from Sam’s club. Love them and 5 year warranty

In my upper garage, 20x32x12, I had 2 Eight foot LEDs, installed about 3' from the walls. I got them through Home Depot. They are Bright! My basement with 9 foot unfinished ceiling, had some 4' fluorescent double bulb fixtures, when I moved in. I added some more to dark areas, & a couple extra, around my main work area. The last couple years, I've slowly been adding an LED replacement bulb, to the fixtures. So most fixtures have 1 fluorescent & I led bulb. That has brightened the basement up. Bulbs from Lowes. I did by 1 of the single led fixture, from Harbor Freight, & put it in a dark spot near the chimney. Great for the price!

Here's the 8' ers, I bought from HD. They have the diffuser [guess it's called] on them. Otherwise, I think they have the double row LED's. Don't remember the name, wattage, & specs. First pic is standard from about 6' back, & the second is magnified x 2.
