4l60e rebuild

How hard is it to rebuild a 4l60e if you never done it before!

have you built automatics before?
if you haven't, don't attempt it, you will only end up spending twice as much money.
if you have built automatics before, you can probably handle it.
there are certain things that must be done to make it work properly, if you don't do them it will be a nightmare.

I did one, my first automatic and I had a good write-up to follow. It wasn't as bad as I thought, but you will need an assistant or 3 hands to get some of the snap rings on/off.

I am not telling you what you should do, but that's crazy. Your looking at 2000.00 without fluid and you still need to r&r it.
What kind of vehicle is this?

Its a 2002 avalanche and I can get one for 1600.00 shipped to my door

is that wih a converter? then you have to pay shipping for your core or the $350 core charge.
