I got a 1998 Chev Two door Tahoe in a trade but it has a bad 4l60e it only has a 1 2 shift and gears no 3 or4 shift or gears . It came with another 4l60e minus the torque converter, it looks to be a 2001 trans I know that GM went to a 300mm converter from a 298 mm Can I change the bell housing off my bad trans and use my torque converter as there is about a 1/2 inch length difference in the two bell housings My bad one looks to be around 6 1/2 inch and the trans in the back looks to be about 7 inches will this all work?
