Alright I was servicing the tranny in my DD, and the the prev. owner did not change the gasket/o-ring on the filter.. . Hours and curses later that is fianlly removed, however in the process I managed to rip 2 wires out of the quick connector immediately below the filter...
Does anyone have an internal wiring schematic on a 4l60e (in an 01 Yukon if it matters) or even know off hand which color goes on which side>

:D not to hijack your thread, but does anyone have any good links to troubleshooting a 4l60E ? mine's in a 93 Chevy Van :smokin:

there is a reason that gasket/seal doesn't get changed, if you happen to scar/scrape the bore it is pressed into ( as you found, it is a PITA to remove ) you have too much of a chance of creating a leak and sucking air. bye bye tranny. It is pretty common practice to NOT replace that seal unless there is reason to. YES, it comes with the filter, and you will find most get tossed in the trash.

I may be able to help out Tues when I get back to work, If that is soon enough.

Kevin, thanks for the input, unfortuantly I did not have much choise, part of the rubber came out with the filter tube...
Ayway, I'm hoping to have it going today, so that I can make it to work in the morning, if not then any help tomorrow would be great!.
