4l80e ???

I have a 95 burban 4x4 frist gear has came out. can i take a 2wd 4l80e swap the tail housing on my 4wd. will it work or what problems will i run in to

no you can't just switch them, the output shafts are different.
is that all that is gone, do you have manual low?
if you have 2 and 3rd with no 4th, it is most likely a shift solenoid.
