my brother in law has just baught a 4l80e to replace the one that went bad in his 95 gmc 2500....the problem is that when he baught it he wasnt payying attention and got one with an electronic shift module...his truck is set for a vacum module..is it possible to change it out so itll work and if so how much of a pain in the ass is it?

a 4l80e is a completely electronic transmission, there is no vacuum involved. are you sure he doesn't have a 400?
