second, as i pulled into burlington, co a few hours ago, i stopped to get some fuel. as i was getting out of the car (which apparently does not like cross country journeys) i was about run over by two tow rigs...

holla

oh, and let me touch on one other point... The state of Kansas sucks real, real bad. Do not go to Kansas, definitely do not be put in a situation where you might have to drive across Kansas.

To sum up, Kansas=horrible, anywhere else on the planet=yay

oh and if the pics dont show up, too bad, i just drove 21 hours straight and at least tried to post them for you clowns

lol, everyone i have ever talked to that's had to drive across kansas says the same thing. myself included.

on the upside, you should enjoy the rest of your drive. scenic, etc.

Very sweet. In Petersen's they're just now taking the stock JK and putting a full cage in it. I'd consider those "spy pics". Haha

oh damn, is that a crd jk? i just noticed it says diesel under the filler. sweet!

ah, missed that. hmmm, wonder what it is? 4bt? the rumored 4.2 v6 for chrysler products?

it is INSANELY boring. the longest, straightest, flattest roads you've ever seen. absolutely nothing to look at except fields upon fields.

You are 100% correct about kansas.

KANSAS SUCKS!!!!!! It doesnt matter what time of day or night it is and how flat and easy of a tow or how fast or slow you go. We drove 100MPH through that bitch in the middle of night and in the middle of day. It still sucked. Its the same at every ( all 2 ) exits all the way through the state.

On another note man you got to see the real works of art from the WEST coast. And to reduplicate the "SUICIDE SALLY" will cost you more than 80% of the members of this board have spent on there house i bet. $172,000 is what Clifton Slay said it cost to build that rig. YEAH BALLER!!!!!!!!!

What is even more impressive is thats what he gets paid to do. Talk to people like you on his way to a event and show and throw his company name out there and show off his AMAZING toys. He is a very nice guy to hang out with. To bad you didnt have beers and dinner with them and get time to chat 4x4 like me and my bestfriends did in MOAB UTAH in 2004. Nice pics. Drive Safe!!!! TTYL

Seems you forgot about eastern CO (All the way to Denver). It's just as strait and boring as Kansas. Been there done that a few times, and I couldn't agree with you more. Southern Wyoming is about the same, except gas is cheaper there.

Sweet rigs for sure. I just got back from CO yesterday. We flew into and out of Denver and then had to drive over to the western slope. Rented a Mitsu Endever for the trip from denver and a damned PT loser for the trip back, The Endevor was allright, but the PT loser sucked ass going up Vail pass and Eisenhower tunnel approach.

yeah, eastern colorado isn't much better. the only somewhat cool thing is you're slowly going up hill the whole way, and don't really realize it.

i didn't find southern wyoming to be bad. there's at least some mountains to look at and the road curves every once in a while.

And he's pulling it on a ghetto looking trailer.

my exact thoughts.... youd think they coulda spared a few thousand on the rig and got a nice trailer to haul it across the country on...
