Just wondeirng - could you fit/ride a 4wheeler up into the back of, say, an XJ (Lets assume there's no seats or interior to worry about...)?
Aside from fitting, is the weight a problem?

Could'nt weigh much more than 6 chicks and a keg! I say , if the 4wheeler fits...you must aquit...I mean...try it out!

does the xj not have a roof rack?

It does....? Plastic and flimsy?
It has a hood too, wonder if it'd fit there.

I just measured for ya. My 05 honda recon250 is 43 iches tall(approx)by around 42in wide. My xj opening is only around 33 in. tall and not much wider. So, I dont think it will work. My recon is a med/small 4wheeler, most are bigger than that.

First, I have to ask why? Second, I don't think it would. Third, I'd LOVE to see you try to drive it in! :D I think things would get really funny about the time the handlebars got past the roofline.

bring it down to my shop and well cut it up and make it fit :)

Which one, the 4wheeler or the xj???
Cutting up the 4wheeler is not an option. Cutting the xj is, well, probable...

Wow, I didn't realize the inside was so short. Never mind, then.
Maybe I need to find a midgit to drive it!

I kind of like the roof idea, though.... set some ramps on the grill... get a running start, across the hood and right up there

what size 4wheeler. im talking about cutting it sut style brace it a lil and well get that 4wheeler in there!

No you can't have a 4 wheeler in the back for a "spare" for when you wreck the XJ at the race.
Just putting that out there.
:D

Damnit!
It'll be pointing backwards, to use as a jetison pod while mid air going down Kodak!

.....or you could just tow it.. i know thats not too "cool" but hey, its easy.

They'll fit anywhere. All you need is a couple straps.

Dude, this XJ cost you NEGATIVE 70 bucks, right? Yank the roof rack, weld a frame to the roof ala exo cage and slap the atv on it...

and no, 600lbs should not be an issue...

Finally, if you really want to, chop the top, go pickup with it and ....ah screw it, sell the xj and buy a pickup, hella lot easier...

Wow blast from the past.

And I'm greatly saddened to say I never actually tried this.

I did squeeze one into my 4runner once though...

i fit a raptor 350 a cooler duffel bag of clothes and my buddy in the back of my 89 4 door xj

Thats the picture I was lookin for haha, I knew you had done it for the mud pits.
