how often are they going to send rigs @ the rally, I heard about every 5-6 minutes, I see this going horribly wrong, what if racer 1 breaks after racer 2 has already been sent, causing raacer two to be stuck on the course with time ticking away or worse causing racer 2 to smash into racer 1, i think they should only run one rig at a time, reducing the risk for injury or unfair advantages, I know some people are going to be babying there rigs, I'd hate to be the guy running right before big woody and break after he has already left, safety first, one rig at a time IMHO. What yaw think

hmm, certainly gives potential for racers having the urge to "just go around" a broken rig, but may be frowned upon by not staying on designated trails........i also wonder what the verdict is

I think they have this covered already. Each spotter in each race vehicle will be given a walkie talkie at the starting line ansd if for any reason they have a breakage or get stuck they are to radio in and let the staff know so they can hold up the next vehicle. There will also be spotters all along the course as well as recovery vehicles along the course to tow/pull/drag/winch damaged or stuck vehicles out of the way.

Ok so you are running balls out, then someone comes over the walkie talkie to tell your spotter that the rig in front of you is blocking the trail, but you have already left the starting line, are you supposed to stop and let your run go to waste?

---Covered earlier, however. They will back you up to the station that you past last. Plus addtional time to get back up to speed. Then cut you loose again. Times tracked on high tech speed sensors placed along the trail. Its taken care of.

That would be the No limit guys..

I just feel bad for PJ.. he's gonna be all psyched up on the start line ready to go, and Ricky's junk is gonna get wedged between 2 trees because it's too damn wide...

This has all been worked out.

Accordin gto ylan (last week sometime) they are holding the next rig until teh prior driver has passed Kodak. This is just a hair past 1/2 way.
That means that there will be LOTS of time between drivers, and assuming roughly equal travel times, 1/2 the track. Estimate was originlly about 10 minutes.

Drivers have been told many times, IF YOU BREAK YOU MUST GET THE F!@# OFF OF THE TRAIL.

Well, suppose the $30XJ gets the axle ripped out from underneath because the driver gets a little pedal happy on kodak. Whats the game plan to remove vehicle. is that the drivers problem or has the event staff designated a recovery vehicle to clear the trail when the situation arises.
