I am thinking of trading my tow rig on a 4x4 tacoma and selling all my Zuks. I am wondering what kinda gas mileage I could expect out of a 4 cyl 4x4 taco. If it is not much better than my heavy chevy I will just keep it.
The 2500HD gets 14 consistant

I'm gonna throw out a guess on the Taco, and say you'd probably see 15-16mpg city and about 19-21 highway. I don't know that I'd sell. It's nice having a full size, and I'd hate to see you get rid of the Sammi. If you do, though, sell me the cage first!

Umm you need a lift before cage action!!!
I was thinking the same thing I won't move off the 2500HD for less than 25 MPG . It is nice to know I can hook up to whatever and pull it. It is real nice for bailing out friends who hitches collaspe under 11K pounds of bumper pull action. (salt corriosion )

That sounds like a scary situation! As for the "lift before cage" crap, a cage is always a good idea. Plus, that one just looks great! Anyway, I'd hang onto the stuff. You're gonna be back in the saddle before you know it, and you'll hate yourself for getting rid of it.
