5.3 tuning ...who?

I want to get a tune done on a tahoe just to see if I can up the fuel economy. It's an 06' 5.3, anyone got any recommendations for shops that will do this in the Greensboro/Winston area?

Not in your area but TrueDynoSports in Conover had tuned a bunch of LS stuff and have been testing an economy tune for a few years now

Tick Performance in Mount Airy or PCMofNC in Mooresville. Both are a bit of a drive from you, but are good with those engines and tuning.

I'd ride over to Tick, personally. I've talked to them quite a bit. Too bad they're so far away, or I'd let them tune my truck. I've been using a guy out in Vegas to do my tuning. I pull a data log, email it to him, he makes revisions, and then sends it back. it's handy to have the tuning software

You could also do a mail order type tune. Pull your PCM, mail it to them, they tune, and mail it back. Depends on if you can have the down time or not.

Pcm4less is who did the tuning on my buggy. It'd be worth the drive, or the could send you a tune.
