ha, not sure where you found that but it must have been a long time ago when I wrote that.

ok, got that fixed. there's a ton of oddball comments that were thrown in there in a hurry.

How bad was the AMC20? I just geared one for a guy because he didnt want to spend the $$$ to build a narrowed 9 inch. Thats the weirdest thing, all that pumpkin with tiny tubes coming out. It already had Moser shafts though.

Swapped in D44's from a scout. I pulled the cover on the 20 and it all looked ok. Didn't tear into it much more than that. I sold both stock axles to a guy for 75 bucks.

The entire body is going to be hand made except the front cowl/firewall, 1 inch of top rail that goes around it, and some of the trans hump.
5.13s/lockrights. First time setting up gears.

Bought the donor vehicle off ebay for $1k. Was told amc 360 had just been rebuilt. Found this in the dash. Work done by USA Machine Shop in Fayetteville, NC. Dated 8/06 :huggy: Also has an edelbrock carb and intake. Steal of a century. I burnt the tires off the wagoneer.

and I obviously just figured out how to post pictures.

Cost is a major concern in this project. Plan is to make it out under $5k with a well built trail rig that I can have some fun in. Current price as it stands is $2900. That includes every penny spent on this thing. If you are interested in how much all this stuff costs then PM me and I can send you a detailed dollar by dollar spreadsheet I've been keeping up with.
