I have a warn winch. It uses a 5-pin remote. I have the remote but the cable is trashed. 5-pin cable is impossible to find! I can find 3-pin cord all day long. Would it be silly to rewire the solenoids to run with the 3-pin? The older warns used to run it that way, it's just a matter of moving some ground wires. I read they use the 5-pin now because of safety reasons??
