This has been my DD for probably 8 years. Many vehicles have come and gone but this one has remained.
2000 Mazda Protege
230k miles
Automatic
Heat works but AC is weak (worked last year after a recharge)
Power windows, locks, cruise
Decent tires
Recently has started having a drivability issue. Had a coil pack that was arcing to the valve cover. Replaced both coils and all 4 spark plugs. Still has the issue. Seems to have a skip/miss when driving. Has a P1170 code. I'm done with it, have other things to spend my little bit of free time messing with.
*Update* I replaced the o2 sensor and did not improve the running condition and code is still present.
Timing belt and water pump replaced at 195k.
Great little beater with a heater that up until this I would have drove anywhere without a second thought. I'm just tired of the car and have moved on to another vehicle.
Clean NC title in hand.
$500 or may trade for a gun
