went into low power mode and completely died on me a couple nights ago. Had it towed to the Ford Dealer that was a few miles down the road.

They just told me they got the following codes:
P0087, P0275, P0284, P0281, P0263, P0269, P0266, P2291.

They recommend replacing fuel pressure control valve and fuel filters.

I then asked for a quote to proactively replace the CP4 fuel pump because I hear horror stories on that failure.

I’ll have to get them to do control valve and filters so it can run. Should I let them go ahead and replace the fuel pump ($6500)? Or find another shop for the fuel pump? I don’t have time to do it myself. Anybody had a local shop do it for them? What did they charge?

I would 100% call pure diesel (now in Thomasville) and talk to them about it first

Several different members here can speak on how well they diagnose and fix things compared to other shops and dealers

Absolutely, if you're spending the money, go ahead and do the S&S DCR pump swap.
