6 lug to 8 lug conversion

im about to buy a dana 44 front out of an 84 jeep j10 and i already have a gm 14 bolt rear end. is it possible or what would it take to convert the front 44 to an 8 lug? Preciate the help.

I know very little about the Jeep J10, but you might want to check and make sure the WMS distance of both axles is close to the same. Typically, the front axle WMS distance is slightly larger than the rear axle WMS distance. It would be undesirable to have a large difference between the front and rear axles.
