60 question

in 78 did they offer standard and rev cut gears for a d60 front?

why i ask is i get a r&p and its stamped 12/20/78 but it does not match(the gears).the ring mounts just fine on my carrier,the pinion seats in perfectly.

All 1978 Ford fronts were rev cut. All rears are standard cut. All chevy and dodge fronts are standard cut. All high pinion axles are rev cut.
