60 tons of gravel and 7 yards of concrete later....

Covered about 2/3 of the back yard in gravel (60 tons) and poured a 14x26 x 6" slab next to my shop -- going to put a carport up as an extension of my work space and get another jeep or two out of the weather.

(If anybody needs concrete done south of Raleigh, Carolina Concrete out of Broadway did an excellent job. I'd seen some of his work around town, and it is top notch. Highly recommend.)

Will get a quote from them for my shop floor. Did he charge by the yard?

I just did a package deal, grading, gravel, and slab. His price - although apples and oranges - was in line with other quotes, and about what I was expecting.
