600 holey on trail rig

I had one on my 79 bronco and it worked good for me I sold it to Doc so you can ask him and get his 2 cents also

the only carb I have ever had luck with was a Avenger........that is on angles
The 600 is awesome if not much angle in my experience

There are some tricks to make it better, but it still fully sucks if you're driving anything more than a powerline trail. (and even then still a little)

I run one on my jeep for years. If you don't keep it tached up high on steep climbs or when you are tilted sideways it will stall on you.

The 600 on my '79 B'co is great on 90% of the terrain.....except inclines.

I had to nearly stand the thing on the bumper going up to Kodak to keep it from stalling.....I'm seriously considering going back to a 2150.

Driving around & muddin', it's great & starts well.....

Good luck!

EVERY carb has it's limits! Asking opinions on carb performance could start a 100 page post fast! If you want your truck to run good while it sits on it's roof, go with FI or propane. If you want a carb, realize that you will have it stall occasionally on steep inclines. It's called gravity, and in the right situation, it will pull the fuel in the bowl away from the passage you need it to go in. It happens. Just roll back down, fire it up, and get a better run'n'go'!
