7.3 CCV mod help

Trying to install RiffRaff's CCV mod tonight.
I can't get past the 2nd step in the instructions.
Any advice/tips to remove the CCV hose from the intake tube?
 
Figured it out, has some of those crimped clamps on it(always called them devil clamps). Had to contort myself with a mirror to see them.

Used a screwdriver to pry it off and all is well...
