7/8x18tpi taps - anyone have them?

id like to drill and tap out my tie rod ends from the fzj80 ends to gm 1 ton shit (hydro assist is killing my 80 series ends). id just like to borrow them for a day or come over and use them at your place. anyone in the raleigh area have some? PM me if you dont want the whole board to know. i need both the RH and LH taps

cheap imports can be had for about $30 each...

for a one time job, not a bad price

I'd try McMaster Carr, Fastenal, maybe Grainger, J&L Industrial supply....


many to choose from.

usually local industrial supply places or a cutting tools business (US Industrial Cutting Tools, for example), will carry it. If not, they can usually get it in a day or 2.
