i need some education here. Is this a manually shifted auto? im imaging an 4spd with no clutch pedal. how does it work?
 
On a full manual, yeah, pretty much. Instead of pulling down in to 3rd on a stock setup and having it start in first, but not go in overdrive...you'd have to shift down to first. It'll stay in whatever gear you put it in.

If you're going to use one, I'd suggest one of the constant pressure throttle bodies so you can eliminate the TV cable and have one less thing to worry about.

I can imagine that you'd probably rather have a floor mounted shifter when you use one too. Something like a Lokar that basically makes it look like it's 4speed.
