I'm going to have to do mine eventually. No denying that. I'm not looking for anything outrageous, I don't plan on ever pushing more than 350 hp. It will be in my Suburban, though, and it will get towed with some. Anybody heard about these guys? I'm wary of anybody who advertises on craigslist, but his prices seem decent.
 
I have no idea, I tried to call and email them with no luck, but after I talked to some people I came to realize it's too good to be true. The parts alone are more expensive than the trans.
 
That's kinda what I was looking for. I assumed, but I've never gotten much into auto trannies. They kinda scare me. ;) Anybody know who around here would be a good rebuilder, or questions I should ask when talking to one? There's a couple of guys real near me who do them, one who claims to build them for diesel drag and pull trucks. He's new, though, and I've not heard anything about him.
