I have an adapter from AA to put a yota case behind a 700r4, will this adapter also bolt behind a th350? i know the spline count is the same but would the rest be as well?

yup.

It is more reliable? How ya figure? If this was 1985 I might agree...

Many of the parts are the same design, and yes, it has O/D, so there are more parts which technically makes it less reliable.

But, you do have to change the output shaft on the 700 to use the adapter, and you don't on the 350, so that'll save ya some money.

I'd rather run a fawkin powerglide than a manual trans though! :)

whats the difference in shafts? the adapter is made for a 700r4

The adapter is made for a TH350. the 700 needs the th350 output shaft., then it works.
