how "bling" do you want to be? They are fairly easy to make if you don't need all that fancy bling engraving on the links, etc.

Will.....you buy them and I will paint them gold! I don't want them engraved or polished...for now..
Would I get 2.5" 7075 from any local metal supplier? I have thought about having them drilled and tapped locally.

that would be your best bet.
that aluminum comes in 12' sticks so consider that when figuring costs
