I felt like I was looking at it like a puppy in the animal shelter. My dad had a Hurst edition commando when I was a kid. Actually have pictures of that thing here somewhere.

Looking under the frame rail behind the front tire I don't see an oil pan hanging down, or any drive shafts, so I'd say that's a pretty good guess.
