74 Chevy 3/4 ton

Hello to all as I am new this is my first post!

I bought a 74 3/4 ton Sat. for $800 that is in need of sum new floor pans. I have never replaced floorpans before and had a few ques? I have found sum from classic industries and was wondering if anybody had any feedback on them as far as how well they fit? Should I completely remove to old ones, or just until I reach good steel again? Any tips and info would be greatly appreciated.

I used to work for classic industries. There parts fit pretty good. Some better than others. The floor pan fit really well. Nice truck by the way.

Finally got something with enough muscle to get the flat bed off. Def. gonna do some cutting on the bed. It weighs at least 2000lbs.

Anyone have any ideas on disc brakes for the rear?

there ain't no telling how heavy that bed is. what are you going to do with the flat bed now?
and the pans are very straight forward. just make sure you can duplicate the old cut out floors with the new ones. straight cuts and nice lines will make your job look alot better.

Not sure yet ORV. Been thinkin about doing sum cuttin on it, but any cutting on this thing is going to be radical. Maybe a foot or so off each side, prob more. Then cut out around where the tires would scrub on the flex. But after all that cutting and grinding, might be easier to sell it and start from scratch.

The real deal maker about this truck was the motor. Its got a 327 chevy in it that I will get sum pics of 2nite. Drove it home from where I got it, about an hour. It ran like a top, plenty of power!
