I picked up a full size bronco that has a massive death wobble once I hit about 34-36 mph. It's so bad I have to slow down to about 15 mph to make it quit. The conversion van swivel seats that the previous owner installed only intensify the situation.

I realized the factory seering stabilizer was mia so I installed a new replacement.

I thought tires might be separating (they needed replacing anyway) so I put fresh rubber on.

Those two simple changes made no difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lift the front end off the ground, get somebody you trust to move the wheel for you from about 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock positions. And start looking for movement. Could be as simple as a tracbar bushing on up to an RA issue...frame cracking is also an issue at the frame where the PS gearbox mounts. Also inspect TRE's and ball joints. Easy check is seeing what kind of movement you get out of the tire at the 12 and 6 oclock locations...if you do...it's a ball joint issue. You can do the same thing at the 9 and 3 position and that would be TRE's. Could also be time for an alignment if all else checks out.

Stock or lifted?

check the lower track bar bushing on the axle by the radius arm "c" wedge. when the bushing goes out , DEATH WOBBLE every time. although it could be something else but thats the first thing i'd check.
