78 cj5 steering stabilizer

Hey guys got a new steering stabilizer for my 78 cj5. I took the old one off and was going to put the new one back in its place. I am not for sure if the old one was in the right place. Can someone post a pic of were it should go. Also when I put it on do I pull it out about halfway then bolt it on. Not sure if the one that was on there was right.
