8.8 swap ebrake help

I thought tjs used zj ebrake cables to work with a 8.8. Are yours not long enough?

I used a small e-brake cable "repair kit" from advanced. Has a crush sleeve to use at the end to secure the end of the cable and use as a pulling point. I didn't trust that crush sleeve alone so I snagged a couple small thimbles, looped them, ran them through the crush sleeve and then compounded that with 2 cable clips. No issues for me. Total cost: $12
