hey guys im taking the D35 out of my 92 xj and putting in a freebie 8.8 out of a 90or 91 explorer the 8.8 has a flang where the driveshaft hooks up while my D35 is a regular u-joint style Is there an adapter or a swap kit for this swap or do i need to make my own driveshaft.

You just need to go to the junk yard and find a 94 or older exploder and get the peice off the stock driveshaft.

I have one in stock $50 shipped
Not trying to keep a sale from a vendor, especially not one as generous as you, but the junkyard is SOOOO much cheaper.

Exactly. A '94 or older will use the same u-joint as you have on your driveshaft. I don't know how close you are to a pull-a-part type yard, but the one in charlotte charges $3 for a drive flange and you get to keep the proper bolts for it. You'll need whatever tools you use to change u-joints and a 12pt, 12mm socket for the Ford drive flange bolts.
