Picked up a wheel for a spare cheap - like free. How do I tell if it will fit my Dodge? I know I need 8 x 6.5, but is there a measurement between the lug holes that will tell me if it's 6.5 or 170mm?
TIA,
Hmmm... nevermind... I'm used to an odd number of lugs... can just measure on a 8 lug...
I'll repost this shortly as an offer to trade a 170mm for a 6.5"...
Similar question, didn't want to make a new thread, looking for wheels for my dad's 97 f250, I don't know alot about the wheels, its 8x6.5 pattern, but he is telling me the centers on some dodge/chevy wheels are different, so might not work... Looking at these wheels but not wanting to buy them and have them not fit over the centers, asking the guy to measure but figured might be easier to ask some of you more experiences guys.
8 lug wheels were the same until Ford changed in 1999 (I believe) to a metric spacing.
A little reading, http://www.google.com/search?q=dodge+ford+8x6.5+center+hole, leads me to believe it may work but there are a lot of exceptions with regard to center hold, lug type, etc.
